3 Tesla MRI Scanner
The MRI unit in Rajagiri Hospital is among the most advanced in the country. In addition to superior field strength, direct digitization of signals and optimised protocols lead to excellent image quality. While the routine Brain and spine imaging has improved resolution, the scanner is also of proven quality for all body applications. The wide bore of the gantry makes it very comfortable for patients to undergo MRI scans here.
Mammography
The mammography unit at Rajagiri Hospital is capable of high-resolution images. The spacious mammography suite is also ideal for guided procedures.
128 Slice CT Scanner
The CT scanner at Rajagiri Hospital is among the best, catering to a wide array of applications in conventional imaging, contrast studies, and angiography. With the use of dedicated organ system software packages, this is one of the few units capable of high-end reconstruction and segmentation studies. The ultra-fast CT scanner is also ideal for stroke and trauma imaging.
Digital X-Ray Imaging
The Department of Radiology has both CR and Direct digital – DR X-ray units. This enhances quality, rapid viewing, and throughput of cases. Separate units are present for Emergency imaging and portable X-rays.
Advanced and Doppler Imaging
Use of some of the most advanced ultrasound scanners with dedicated probes and software applications make the Ultrasound cluster a comprehensive imaging unit. Tissue sampling and guided interventions are also performed here.
Digital Fluoroscopy and C-arm
One of the few Radiology centres with a digital fluoroscopy suite, all dynamic motion studies in both plain and contrast modes are done here. These are especially useful in ENT, gastrointestinal and urology studies. Many vascular and non-vascular interventional studies can also be performed on this unit.
Diagnostic Labs - Pathology, Biochemistry, and Microbiology
High-end auto analysers mark the spectrum of our lab facilities. Augmenting this is an informatics enabled workflow which will help in easy scheduling, availing, evaluating and archiving the tests.
